Magazine (final project) planning questions- advertising

What kinds of products and services end up being featured in the magazine?   The product or service that is being featured is Drake's concert. Having him be the main page and all the other words around him make him the main idea, so when the reader reads that it is a concert, they will see Drake and make an inference that it is going to be his concert. Knowing that they are a fan will want them to go to the concert.  Giving the magazines to people on the street, doctor offices, grocery stores, or gas stations. Some people could be interested in getting a magazine on the streets and give them a chance to read them when walking could give potential customers. That includes giving them to medial offices because when waiting in the doctor offices people could read them and find a desire to go. For grocery stores and gas stations, they show them on display at the cash register so when they are scanning the groceries the potential buyers can look at the magazines and th...

Magazine (final project) planning questions- Topography

What mood, tone, or attitude is suggested by the shape, size, and arrangement of the letters?      The mood and tone of the magazine cover is excitement and happy, it represents how a concert is coming and everyone should be excited because it is going to be “lit .” The size announcement is the whole page and the colors aren’t so vibrant but this will still make the reader want to read it since it is the first page, having it be the first pa ge and letters big grasp the readers attention and make them want to read it.  The size, color, and shape of the magazine helps with the attention grabbing of your audience. For example, I am advertising Drake’s concert, so I put the title in big words, “concert ” to let the reader see that it is a concert and then a picture of Drake so that they know that it is his. Your title should suggest what the mood you are giving off, the font and size is also important. When choosing the font, it should represent your what your showing of, if it’s a horror movie the font should be sort of scary , or if it is happy the font should be lively .   What is the strapline ?   When creating a strapline, you want to include details that are important and that will sum up everything, in that single sentence you have to find a way to not lose the reader by making it sound boring, you have to make it sound exciting . Reflect all the amazing aspects of your brand or what you are promoting , making it entertaining and enjoyable, put personality in it, and make it unique from others; no one wants to read a boring paper about something that is supposed to be exciting. Make the strapline memorable, so when they think of something relating to what your bra nd is or what you are promoting, they can automatically think of your memorable strapline. For example, “ Happiest place on Earth” for Disneyland, they used that strapline to indicate when you are happy you can think where you can be happier which is at Disneyland. The same goes for Coca-Cola, “open happiness” this gives the reader a visual thought of opening a can or...
