Magazine (final project) planning questions- strapline

 What is the strapline?

When creating a strapline, you want to include details that are important and that will sum up everything, in that single sentence you have to find a way to not lose the reader by making it sound boring, you have to make it sound exciting. Reflect all the amazing aspects of your brand or what you are promoting, making it entertaining and enjoyable, put personality in it, and make it unique from others; no one wants to read a boring paper about something that is supposed to be exciting. Make the strapline memorable, so when they think of something relating to what your brand is or what you are promoting, they can automatically think of your memorable strapline. For example, “Happiest place on Earth” for Disneyland, they used that strapline to indicate when you are happy you can think where you can be happier which is at Disneyland. The same goes for Coca-Cola, “open happiness” this gives the reader a visual thought of opening a can or bottle of Coca-Cola and then they are instantly happier, they will pair being happy to happiness in a bottle and want one when feeling down.  Using something that interacts with everyday things will make the people who read the paper think about it more and more.
