Magazine (final project) planning questions
What is the strapline?
Biggest and baddest concert of all time with Drake, it finna be lit.
What does it suggest about the magazine and the reader?
It suggests that the magazine will be picked up by a reader that enjoys Drake's songs and will give them the idea to go to his concert.
What rhetorical features are evident in the coverline?
The rhetorical feature that is mentioned is pathos because it is relating to the Drake’s emotions of how the concert will be exciting and, “lit.” him saying that it is going to be fun will give the reader an idea of how fun it will be and gives them the emotion of excitement so they will go to the concert. When they read the cover and see that he is coming to their town, pathos will be there again because it gives them a exciting feeling that he is coming to their town when they are a big fan of him.
What does your Title mean? What does it Suggest?
My title just indicates that there will be a concert, it isn’t specific, but it will suggest to the reader that when they keep reading, they will find out who is having a concert and where.
What mood, tone, or attitude is suggested by the shape, size, and arrangement of the letters?
The mood and tone of the magazine cover is excitement and happy, it represents how a concert is coming and everyone should be excited because it is going to be “lit.” The size announcement is the whole page and the colors aren’t so vibrant but this will still make the reader want to read it since it is the first page, having it be the first page and letters big grasp the readers attention and make them want to read it.
What kinds of products and services end up being featured in the magazine?
The product or service that is being featured is Drake's concert. Having him be the main page and all the other words around him make him the main idea, so when the reader reads that it is a concert, they will see Drake and make an inference that it is going to be his concert. Knowing that they are a fan will want them to go to the concert.
