Magazine (final project) planning questions- title

 What does it suggest about the magazine and the reader? 

It suggests that the magazine will be picked up by a reader that enjoys Drake's songs and will give them the idea to go to his concert. When creating your title, it should be big and eye catching, when I thought wanted to catch my audience’s attention the title should be summing up basically what you are trying to advertise. For example, I am advertising Drake’s concert, so I put the title in big words, “concert” to let the reader see that it is a concert and then a picture of Drake so that they know that it is his. Your title should suggest what the mood you are giving off, the font and size is also important. When choosing the font, it should represent your what your showing of, if it’s a horror movie the font should be sort of scary, or if it is happy the font should be lively. Now for the size, according to your topic the size does matter, sometimes when the logo matters more you have to make the title smaller or if you are announcing something, making it in big letters will grab your reader’s attention. Just like how I was announcing a concert I made the words big.

9/15 the video project questions

 1) what was your inspiration for video? - We wanted a easy topic so we picked a murder story. When I looked at the railing of the second floor it remined me of the scene in Outer Banks when John B gets pushed by Topper and falls off the railing of the tree house to then have his arm broken, so instead of having our character's arm broken, they just died and the murder goes to kill all the other people that find the body. 2) What were the most challenging things about the project? - The most challenging things about making this project was probably the editing and the idea making. We struggled a lot thinking of what the plot should be and how it would all be tied together, something was always off and needed to be solved but it was hard trying to come up with a new scene.   What is the strapline ?   When creating a strapline, you want to include details that are important and that will sum up everything, in that single sentence you have to find a way to not lose the reader by making it sound boring, you have to make it sound exciting . Reflect all the amazing aspects of your brand or what you are promoting , making it entertaining and enjoyable, put personality in it, and make it unique from others; no one wants to read a boring paper about something that is supposed to be exciting. Make the strapline memorable, so when they think of something relating to what your bra nd is or what you are promoting, they can automatically think of your memorable strapline. For example, “ Happiest place on Earth” for Disneyland, they used that strapline to indicate when you are happy you can think where you can be happier which is at Disneyland.
